SOME WEBSITES I BUILT RECENTLY
creator of mijomijo.org
I developed this website for an emerging Latinx painter who wanted a Wikipedia-style bio page, along with the capability to sell their work and process payment directly through the website. To do so, I created the “Available Works” page, an e-commerce version of his Archive database (see below). Now, his collectors can see his new works before they appear in shows and make instantaneous acquisitions using Apple Pay.

The painter, Francisco Daniel Cabrera, also wanted to create a web-based archive database to track his hundreds of paintings—covering not only dimensions and mediums but also exhibitions, sale prices, and private collections. For his shows, I prepare inventories, price lists, and generate QR codes that link directly to each painting's entry in his archive database.

Single-handedly developing this website for a fine art photographer took nearly a year. It began with in-studio digitization of original works and related materials, including ephemera like the interactive Guggenheim application and decades of press coverage. She also wanted descriptions for each series, along with a soft, aesthetic U/X for interaction. In essence, she wanted more than a portfolio site—she wanted to make her 50 years of work, as well as her life, home, and garden, shareable.

This sculptor's website was built on an obsolescing platform that lacked aesthetic customization and interactive elements. He wanted me to create a modernized site while retaining simple page layouts and interaction to let the work be the focus. As a sculptor based primarily in NYC, he also wanted to improve his visibility in Google Business searches, so I performed additional SEO work and created, and now manage, his Google Business profile.
